We were given a clear vision for this project. Create something that feels like an old Dime Store Novel. With that in mind, I researched what those looked like, how they were stylized, and how they conveyed action. Then I set to recreate that look in Photoshop. It took a while to give it a painted/sketched appearance, and then created borders and a title badge for the type treatment.

This was a challenging shoot because we had no control over the environment. We were on set for one day, out in the middle of a huge field in Montana and we had to try and use some trees to block the sun. Ended up having to rotate the set a few times because we kept getting put on hold to work with the talent.
